Anyone that wasn't there missed out. All the bands were ace and I met loads of cool new people...

i don't drink, so that wasn't a problem for me!

i could have done with it going on later, my friends and i were up for dancing and partying into the wee small hours.  cant complain too much though as it did make it slightly easier getting up for work at 6am the next day.

great day though, roll on Summer Horrorday 2010.

sadly there was a road accident en route, so i got there too late to see Midwich Cuckoos and the Casket Creeps (sorry Tommy).

best bands, for me, were Dead Pleasures, the Ruined and of course Blitzkid.

didnt get to meet many of you, had a brief chat with Mr Dan Blood towards the end but that was all, too busy having fun to remember who was who!

(if you aren't sure if you spotted me, i had ZOMBIECORE on the back of my jacket thing.  and i am very tall).

a couple of people took photos of me and my friends Sam and Leah, and they said it was "for the website"... anyone know what website that is, and if so when these photos are going up?

Yeah a few people missed our set which sucked but going on early meant I could relax, get pissed and enjoy the other bands.

Oh good! It was great wasn't it. I felt like I was home the moment  I walked in! Doc should do a "winter murderland" or something so we don't need to wait so long for summer!

it's a shame All Tomorrow's Parties have already taken 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' as the name for their December festival...

Ha, that dude put like a lolly as a replacement.
Yeah it seemed to finish quite early and Blitzkid came on like 30 minutes before they were due, think I missed a song.

I liked how the staff were dressed up too

i took quite a few of blitzkid but they didnt turn out because i still haven't learned how to work my camera...

on a different tangent, if there is another Summer Horrorday, who would we like to see play?

aside from the big names (Calabrese would be top of my list), i recommend a Dutch band called The Bat Bites who have a Teenage Bottlerocket/Ramones sort of vibe.  be nice to see a new band like that on the bill.
