Spooky Prom - The Other - London Jan 5th"Spooky Prom – a “zombified” High School Dance with live bands and performances - was thought up by the frontman of electronic punk formation Eyaculacion Post Mortem from Barcelona. After a couple of successful years in Spain Spooky Prom is now coming to London. Headlining the Spooky Prom Winter Bash are Germany’s number One horrorpunk band The Other! Support will come from Norwich horrorpunk rock ’n’ roll four-piece Fletch Cadillac, Eyaculacion Post Mortem themselves and Spanish psychobilly outfit Motorzombis. DJs Graves and Sadako will be playing spooky tunes until late!"

Chances are il probs make it if it isnt sold out and tickets are for sale on the door...im home for xmas and dont live that far from Camden itself...would have preffered to see The Ruined supporting bt Fletch Cadillac are still cool.

Soooo we get ready, drive to Camden, park up, get out...
...and my other half starts projectile vomiting EVERYWHERE. Seriously, it was like something out of The Exorcist. Coming out of his nose... horrendous, poor thing =(
Cue a somewhat deflated Mads getting back into car, driving home and missing gig!

random question:
why is it that nearly all forgen horror punk bands think that the uk consists entirely of london???
im rly fed up of them not coming up to liverpool! we should all start some sort of, thing, where we make horror punk bands come to our towns and not just london!
(note: if u live in/near london, dont take this post the wrong way, i just wanna see some bands without having to pay £50^ to see a band)

It was indeed a great night... Sucks to hear about you missing it. 
As to why they don't play anyplace else, it's kind of because you'd be the only one watching them there. If you go to Germany and see the amount of people that go to each local show you'd be amazed. It's just more popular over there

actaully, you'll be surprized, Im sure zats and their fiends would wanna go and see them and I know most of my m8s would def go and see them!
ive came to the conslusion tho its more the venues/promoters who cause the problems. they just dont seem to want to pay like they used to! Tis a shame rly, there are alot of good bands who i would kill to see, but because venus arnt investing in decent quality bands ne more, we dont get to see them
