Vikki got their CD - I think it's pretty good but I guess they must play a lot around your way and I can see that getting tiresome. We're going to see them in Derby on 20th Feb cos my mate's helped set up the gig and she doesn't want nobody turning up! I think they're doing that DAG show I mentioned on the Koffin Kats thread, so you can get even more bored of them if you go to that! No idea about a show on the 6th though, sorry. |

They've played too much round here I think. They support at every psychobilly show. I don't see how a lot of the promoters cover their £150 fee, especially when its a free pub show.
I do think they're really good, just kinda know their set off by heart now. And its sad to see them getting so up themselves. |

I know what you mean. There's a few bands around here I have seen dozens of times cos they always do support, and it does get boring.
Are they getting up themselves? I wouldn't know as I've never met them, and only seen them live once or twice. It''s a familar story though, a lot of bands start to believe the hype and think they're the future of rock n roll, even when they're still only playing to 20 people in a dive somewhere... |

Regarding the gig on the 6th..... Been a bit busy sorting out other stuff, but we've got Sgt. Bilko's Crazy Combo sorted ~ just waiting on the confirmation from the venue ! ~ summat will be going on tho. Oh & hopefully we'll have Junkyard too ? |

Advance tickets still available for a couple of weeks , but ya still can pay on the door for the all dayer ! ..... whose coming then ?

I just met John & Kerry last night. He said it was about a 4 hour drive for them  Have a bunch of mutual friends tho. My tattooist was his best mate when he lived up north.

cool, i like John and Kerry, theyve been really good to Vikki.
simon (fatbloke) is a good guy as well, and Paul from blue demon is really funny. i dont know many of the others though, well except for the Speedkings boys and Liam Revenge. Vikki knows them all way better than me. |

Most of the scally's are cool , John n Kerry... won't have a bad word said against em... the big fat welsh bastard was my best man after all .. nothing against the Welsh tho Sam !

Anyway, getting back on topic from "people on Wrecking Pit"... we'd love to come to this and even though we'd already booked our accomodation for the Saturday we were thinking of it. but Vikki's got work, so we can't make it im afraid. have fun though, we'll be there Saturday for definite! |
