I never really gave them too much notice because I like finding bands that noone knows yet.. haha that sounds really lame actually... what I mean is, I'll probably discover them myself in a few years rather than taking them being shoved down my throat...hmm no that still sounds like I'm stuck up. I'm not...honest!!

The thing I like about Aiden is that they seem to have taken off from where AFI left off before they went weird and expiremental with their last album, Aiden have some really awesome lyrics, there's an obvious Alkaline Trio influence which I like too. God, I'm making it seem like Aiden aren't very original but in actual fact, I think they're one of few mainstream bands who actually stand out from the crowd, good on 'em.

Oh yeah Dan, check out "We Sleep Forever" it'll get stuck in yer head for days.

I've now watched two Aiden videos so consider myself an expert, Laughing

one was 'Die Romantic' which was an ok song but I'm not sure about the crow make-up on some old man who clearly wants to be Davey Havok & I especially don't like the eating dissordered girl, I don't really get the point, its like the whole lets listen to Lincon Park & cut ourselves video

The other one was 'One Love' which was a pants tune & a really gay video & not in a good Frankie Goes to Hollywood way!

"Last Sunrise" is quite a good video, but a fairly by-numbers tune itself. Not bad, by any stretch of the imagination. Wouldn't call myself a fan, but that song, "Die Romantic", "We Sleep Forever", "The Suffering", and even a cover of The Misfits' "Die Die My Darling" (no really, it's not bad!) are stand-out tracks (by Aiden's standards) for me.

Although a lot of songs seem to have some reference to setting your friends on fire. While its good to have a uniting factor in most of your songs, this isn't a particuarly good one...

They're ok, or at least they used to be. I had their second album at one point but they kind of come across to me as one of those "eyeliner-core" bands that were ten-a-penny a few years back, and it didn't get replayed much.

Not heard much of their newer stuff and what I have heard I didn't like.

Their video with Jeffree Star in it is seriously one of the gayest things I have ever seen, and the 'Die Romantic' video is pretty funny, with the singer popping up in his Crow make-up like a ghost-train skeleton.

... I mean seriously, what's up with that? Did he really think on the day of the video shoot "I know, I'm going to do my make-up like The Crow for this. No-one's ever done that before, ever!"?
