Take these as you will, all are unconfirmed but I have heard that they are possibilities for playing UK shows in 2009.

Nim Vind
Calabrese
Michael Graves (although apparently he's doing acoustic-only shows at present - yikes!)

It'd be amazing if Calabrese played here. Apparantly they're playing in Germany in the summer so if they don't come to the UK we'll probably go there.

yea, its called marky ramones blitzkreig or somethin, they just played ramones songs, although I've heard one or two rumours that they played a misfits song or two at a random gig... not sure how much truth is behind it tho!

i was actaully pretty excited when i heard they were touring round europe, then cal realised, americans dont see the uk as apart of europe...

gotta admit tho, i dont class the uk as europe, but when bands tour, i kinda expect them to visit us while there over on the continent

It sucks when American bands forget that the UK is part of Europe when doing European tours, it sucks even more when American bands forget that Scotland is part of the UK when doing UK tours.

aye, tis annoying!

i can understand if their an independant band who cant afford to tour every last city when every fan lives (aka, blitzkids last uk tour)

but when larger bands who are signed and rake in the dough, dont tour within an 2 hours drive of where u live, your left sayin, wats the point?

aye, depends where you live, though.  most places that have bands (Birmingham, Manchester, London, Nottingham, Sheffield, Leicester) are within 2-3 hours of us, but that's cos we're in the middle of the country.

so if a band tours chances are there's going to be one show at least we can get to.

you do have to be prepared to travel, though.  but that's half the fun - rolling up at some scummy pit in a town you've never been to before and seeing people you know from all over the country who you only meet at these things.

doubt it - we're planning on doing Satanic Stomp and probably Psychomania so i think we'll be all germany-ed out after that.

it was Stripe from Kreepers who told me he's been trying to book Calabrese - but i guess if the band don't want to play the UK it ain't gonna happen..
